It's day one in Luzern, Switzerland. After a somewhat rocky start with a delayed flight, a bus trip to Philadelphia (a result of our delayed flight!), an 8-hour flight, and a one-hour train ride from Zurich, we're at Mark and Tom's place in Luzern.

It's a gorgeous day here. Mark met us at the train station -- Tom had the car waiting for our luggage. The kids piled into the car with Tom while Terry, mom and I went to the outdoor market with Mark. In typical Mark style, he overloaded our hands with bags and bags of fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, and breads.
We hopped on the bus back to the house and enjoyed a magnificent feast on the patio -- with a gorgeous view of the mountains.
After lunch, we all crashed for a bit -- well, except for the boys who seem to be running on adrenaline.
We trying to motivate to take a walk down to the lake for a swim -- that should wake us up a bit. Our hope is that we'll be able to stay awake until a reasonable bedtime hour and get a good night's sleep.
